Terms of Service
These Terms govern use of Learning Podcast and each separately ordered podcast production. The service does not require a recurring subscription.
Last updated: July 21, 2026
§ 1 Scope and provider
Learning Podcast is operated by the provider identified in the Legal Notice. These Terms apply when you create an account, prepare source material, request a quote, order podcast production, or use a generated podcast. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Conflicting customer terms apply only when expressly accepted by the provider.
§ 2 Service and order process
The browser-based service supports the following workflow:
- Upload or enter permitted documents, images, text, or a publicly accessible webpage.
- Extract and analyse readable source content and configure language, format, duration, voices, and learning aids.
- Receive a quote for one podcast without entering into a recurring subscription.
- After confirmed payment, generate the dialogue, speech segments, and downloadable or privately streamable audio.
A quote relates to the source and configuration shown at that time. Material changes, large dialogue additions, regeneration, or another configuration may require a new quote and separate order.
§ 3 Account and access
You must provide accurate account information and protect your credentials. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it results from circumstances for which you are not responsible. The service is intended for persons who can legally conclude the relevant contract; minors may use it only with the required consent of a parent or legal representative.
§ 4 Quotes, prices, and payment
The binding total price, currency, included production scope, and any applicable taxes are displayed before you place an order. Browser-side amounts are not authoritative; the server-side quote and payment confirmation determine the order.
Payment is processed as a one-time payment through the payment provider shown at checkout. Podcast generation starts only after successful payment confirmation. A cancelled, failed, or expired checkout does not start paid generation.
Reasonable corrections within the allowance shown in the workflow may be included. Substantial additions, a changed source, another duration, different production settings, or additional regeneration may create additional costs that must be approved before they are incurred.
§ 5 Withdrawal rights for consumers
Consumers generally have the statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen days. The specific instruction applicable to the order is provided before the binding order is placed.
Withdrawal period
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from conclusion of the contract. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send a clear withdrawal statement before the period expires.
Immediate production
Because each podcast is produced individually and generation may begin immediately after payment, checkout may request your express instruction to begin performance before the withdrawal period ends and the statutory acknowledgement concerning the possible early expiry of the withdrawal right. The applicable consequences depend on the legal classification of the ordered performance and the statutory requirements. Nothing in these Terms restricts rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Exercising the right
Send an unequivocal statement by email or post to the provider. You may use the model form below, but its use is not mandatory.

If a valid withdrawal is exercised, payments are reimbursed in accordance with statutory law. Where performance began at your express request, statutory rules on expiry of the withdrawal right or compensation for services already provided may apply.
§ 6 Your material and permitted use
You remain responsible for every source submitted to the service. In particular, you must not:
- Upload or process material without the necessary rights, permission, licence, or statutory authorisation.
- Submit unlawful, defamatory, abusive, privacy-infringing, or otherwise rights-violating content.
- Use the service to bypass access restrictions, technical protections, paywalls, or confidentiality obligations.
- Publish or distribute private podcasts, links, or feeds when the source or generated result may not lawfully be shared.
- Interfere with the service, circumvent limits or access controls, automate abusive requests, or attempt to extract non-public source code or data.
§ 7 Generated dialogue and audio
AI-generated dialogue and synthetic speech can contain omissions, simplifications, hallucinations, translation errors, pronunciation errors, or misleading emphasis. The original source remains authoritative.
You must review important information before relying on it. The service is not a substitute for professional, medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or examination-specific advice and does not guarantee learning outcomes.
Generated output may not be unique, and similar output may be produced for other users. To the extent permitted by law and third-party rights, you may use the generated podcast for your own lawful purposes. Rights in submitted source material remain with their respective owners.
§ 8 Private links, feeds, and sharing
Private QR links, audio links, and personal podcast-feed URLs may include an access token that permits retrieval without a new login. Anyone who obtains a valid token may be able to access the linked podcast.
You are responsible for keeping private links confidential and for revoking or replacing them when unintended disclosure is suspected. “Private” means access-controlled and unlisted; it does not guarantee that a recipient cannot copy or forward the content.
§ 9 Production, corrections, and refunds
Production depends on source quality and external AI, speech, hosting, and payment providers. The service may reject unreadable, excessively large, unlawful, unsafe, or technically unsupported material.
If production fails for technical reasons attributable to the service, the provider may retry production, provide a corrected result, issue credit, or refund the affected order as appropriate. This does not limit mandatory warranty or consumer rights.
A subjective preference for another voice, pacing, style, or interpretation is not by itself a technical defect when the ordered configuration was substantially delivered. Report objective defects promptly with enough detail to reproduce them.
§ 10 Storage and deletion
Source files, extracted text, dialogue, audio, and technical production data are stored only for the periods described in the Privacy Policy or until earlier deletion where available. You should download important audio in time. The service is not intended as permanent archival storage, and deletion of a podcast or account may be irreversible.
§ 11 Availability and liability
The provider aims for reliable operation but does not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, security measures, internet failures, and outages or changes at third-party providers may temporarily restrict the service.
Liability is unlimited where required by law, including for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence, liability is limited to breaches of essential contractual duties and to damage typically foreseeable when the contract was concluded, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
The provider is not responsible for unlawful source use, publication of protected material, decisions made without checking generated content, or disclosure caused by a user forwarding a private link. Mandatory product-liability, warranty, and consumer-protection rules remain unaffected.
§ 12 Data protection
Details about account data, uploaded sources, external processors, generated dialogue and audio, retention, and private access tokens are described in the Privacy Policy
§ 13 Changes, law, and dispute resolution
The provider may update these Terms for future orders when the service or legal requirements change. The version presented when an order is placed governs that order unless a mandatory legal change applies.
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of the consumer’s habitual residence remain unaffected. Statutory jurisdiction rules apply to consumers; the provider’s registered office is the agreed place of jurisdiction for merchants where legally permitted.
The provider is not willing or obliged to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board unless a statutory obligation applies in the individual case. If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain unaffected; statutory law applies in place of the invalid provision.
